Hey buddy,
Quick update on the cold email agency I've been building as an experiment:
The website is officially live. I’ve named it Koldbound.
Here’s what's happening:
If you've been following along, you already know what this is.
For the new readers; this is my third public side-hustle experiment (after The Layman's AI newsletter and my old monetization-focused X account) where I document and build an online business from scratch.
This time, I'm building Koldbound - a done-for-you cold email agency that helps businesses book more sales meetings.
I started this because I’ve always wanted to try this business and a friend of mine runs a cold email agency pulling in $20K-$30K/month, and he once handed me a campaign to manage. I found it brutal — manual inbox management, lead scraping, sending everything by hand. But this time around, I am betting on AI tools to do this the easy way.
Will it work? Only time will tell.
Where it stands right now:
Site is live at koldbound.com
Pricing is set: $497 one-time setup fee + $199 per booked meeting
Exploring AutoGTM and ListKit as these advertise themselves as complete tools
What's next for Koldbound:
Land the pilot client — testing AutoGTM’s AI outbound agent on one real campaign before deciding if it's the backbone of how Koldbound runs
Nail the offer page — koldbound.com is live but still rough; refining the copy and case-study section based on your feedback
Set up the fulfillment system — building the actual delivery process (lead sourcing, sequencing, inbox management) so this doesn't become the manual grind I hated the first time around
Get to $497 x 1 — first paying client is the real milestone, not the website
Decide: AI-assisted or manual — the AutoGTM pilot will tell me whether this scales without me becoming the bottleneck
Why I'm sharing this with you:
I'm building Koldbound completely in public: the wins, the mess-ups, the numbers, all of it right here in Wifi Moolah.
If you want the deeper, day-to-day version (client conversations, what's breaking, what's working before I know if it's a trend), there’s an optional daily behind-the-scenes update series for anyone who wants it.
What I need from you:
Go check out koldbound.com — tell me what's confusing, what's missing, what makes you not trust it in 5 seconds (that's the stuff that matters)
Reply to this email or hit the button below if you want in on the daily behind-the-scenes updates
If you know a business owner who'd want more sales meetings without doing outbound themselves, send them my way
This is the real-time version of a side hustle build, warts and all. Appreciate you following along.
Talk soon, Kris
